About the Terror Zone tracker
What is a Terror Zone in D2R?
Terror Zones are areas of Diablo II: Resurrected that become Terrorized for a set time. Monsters there are raised to match your character level, which turns the zone into a strong leveling and farming spot while it lasts. This page shows the Terror Zone that is active right now, the next zone and the time left until it changes.
Terror Zone schedule and rotation
Terror Zones rotate every 30 minutes. There is no fixed, published schedule, so the tracker shows the next zone as soon as it is known and keeps the last 24 hours of zones in the history log.
Reading the EXP and loot tiers
Every zone carries an EXP tier and a loot tier from S to F. The EXP tier rates leveling speed from monster density and map layout; the loot tier rates item farming from elite pack density. Use them to pick where to level or farm.
Terror Zone alerts
Open the alert settings, pick the zones you want, and get a browser push notification 15, 10 or 5 minutes before they start or when they go live. You can also set quiet hours. On iOS, add the site to your Home Screen first to enable notifications.

The zone at the top of this page is the active Terror Zone, with a countdown to the next change. It updates automatically when the zone rotates, so there is no need to refresh.
How often do terror zones change in Diablo 2 Resurrected?
Every 30 minutes, on the hour and at half past.
Is there a fixed terror zone schedule?
There is no fixed, published schedule. The tracker shows the next zone once it is known, and the history log lists the zones from the last 24 hours.
Which terror zone is best for XP?
Check the EXP tier next to each zone. Zones closer to S have denser monsters and better layouts for leveling. If you are farming items, go by the loot tier instead.
What does "d2r tz" mean?
TZ is short for Terror Zone, so "d2r tz" means the current Diablo II: Resurrected Terror Zone, which this tracker shows live.
How do I get notified when a terror zone changes?
Select Enable Alerts, allow notifications, then choose the zones and the timing (at start, or 5, 10 or 15 minutes before). Alerts arrive as browser push notifications, with no account needed.
